Ozyegin University was founded on May 18, 2007, by businessman Hüsnü Özyeğin, a member of Turkey's most famous and rich family.

The following documents are required for registration at Ozyegin University: A high school certificate and transcript (translated into Turkish), a  translated photocopy of the passport, ID Photos, a Language certificate (if any).

Civil aviation fees are added to the €54,000 tuition, which must be paid for training with Turkish Airlines in three installments throughout the semesters 4-6-8.
