Required documents to register at Turkish universities
To register at a Turkish university, some official documents are required to complete the registration process and send the application to the university before receiving the primary admission and following up the registration process.
During the primary registration, you can send the documents online in PDF or JPG format. However, during the official registration at the university (after admission), the required documents must be handled in their original version.
The Camscanner app can be used to make photocopies and send documents, however, it is better to make scanner photocopies.

Required documents to register in Turkish universities
Primary papers:
- Passport photocopy
- A photo ID
Papers required to register in Turkish universities for a bachelors degree
- A copy of high school certificate (translated into English or Turkish)
- A picture of the grades report or transcript of the third year in high school (translated into English or Turkish)
- A copy of the Tofel English Certificate(if any)
- A copy of the TÖMER certificate (if any)
Note:
The certificates written in both Arabic and English DO NOT need a translation.
The certificates that include both transcripts and original transcripts in the same document (such as Iraqiya and Saudi Arabia) are sufficient to register.
The required language certificate is determined according to the language of the study in the specialty chosen by the student. And it is not a required document for registration or admission.

- A copy of the diploma or university graduation certificate
- A copy of the full degree transcript
- A copy of the Tofel English Certificate (if any)
- A copy of the TÖMER certificate (if any)
Papers required to register in Turkish universities for doctors:
- copy of the diploma or university graduation certificate
- A copy of the full degree transcript
- A copy of the master's degree certificate
- A copy of the master's degree transcript (Grades report)
- A copy of the Tofel English Certificate (if any)
- A copy of the TÖMER certificate (if any)
Note:
All certificates and transcripts documents must be translated into English or Turkish if they are not originally issued in these two languages.

Some universities may require the following documents for master and doctoral students:
A letter of recommendation: A recommendation letter is an official document written by your professor or university doctor that validates your work, talents, or academic achievement. A recommendation letter's objective is to validate what you've learned and give more positive details about your performance or behaviors. It should be attached with it the professor’s phone number, email address, and educational institution.
A letter of intention: a letter was written by the student to explain why he chose this university and why he chose his specialty, in addition to his future goals after graduation.
CV: a document that contains your personal information, academic and professional achievements, and skills, etc.
